Our heart’s calling is to be loyal to its destiny;
to bear the burden of memory bravely
to journey through pains wisely
to leap over austere heartscapes safely
to answer ache’s summons unquestioningly.
Also…
to summon the eyes to listen to earth’s silent song
to dance to inner vibrations from the soul’s gong
to bath in yearned sweetness and frolic for long
to bear witness to truths that’re neither right or wrong
and only ask the brain: to whom do we belong?
