Have you ever tried to carry gravity on your shoulders?
Have you held up hard and felt the need for more holders?
Have you?
Have you then felt your loins swell and throb at your efforts?
Have you pressed on nonetheless, setting aside your comforts?
Have you?
Have you been summoned by tomorrow’s lucid yearnings?
And answered the summons by dreaming away those longings?
Have you not really?
If so, you have known the slow arrow of dim distant light
And might then stand shoulder to shoulder with my plight
